What is this?
An opportunity to win spectacular prizes in a raffle. Tickets for the raffle are earned by:
- Collecting the free crowns from the daily gift on the web store.
- Buying packs from the web store (as they all contain Crowns).
- Sending a Coronet tribute to another player (gifting them free web store credit).
- NEW Accepting a Coronet tribute from another player
1 Crown earned = 1 ticket. 10 Coronets tributed = 1 ticket.
10 Coronets accepted = 1 ticket.
Examples:
Collecting the 5 free Crowns from the web store every day in September: 5 x 30 = 150 tickets
Every dollar spent on the web store is worth 3 Crowns, so spending $5 = 15 tickets
Tributing or accepting 500, 2000, 5000 Coronets = 50, 200, 500 tickets
When and how?
Though we are announcing today, you have been earning tickets for the above activities since the start of the month! This will run until midnight UTC on the 30th September and the drawing will take place early in October. We backdate these things so people who are regularly supporting the game's development do not miss out if they did so right before the announcement.
What can I win?
There are three drawings, so two sets of prizes:
Lasting Legacy Prize
NEW Submit a name to be added as both a county name on the new map AND a name to be added to the family name for all players to pick from when making an account or renaming (the "Maidenhead" part of "KM-Dave of Maidenhead"). This is subject to dev approval so we don't end up with anything too obscene or copywrited... but this is your chance to make a lasting game-wide mark on KM as all existing and future players can pick from the name you choose to be added.
Group A Prize
- Any noble of your choice can have ANY trait you like added to it (no dupes, max of 22 on a Mythical excluding Bastard and Inbred, up 1 from last time)
- 32 Epic Boink Berries
- 2 Divorce Scrolls
Group B Prize
- 32 Epic Boink Berries
- 2 Divorce Scrolls
Drawings
Lasting Legacy prize draw
- The top 3 ticket holders insta-win the Lasting Legacy Prize, their remaining tickets stay in the hat.
- Two additional winners for Lasting Legacy will be drawn at random, their remaining tickets stay in the hat.
Group A prize draw
- The top 10 ticket holders insta-win the Group A prizes (which will include the 3 who insta-won the Lasting Legacy). Those 10 winners have all their tickets removed from the hat, improving everyone else's odds in the 2nd drawing for Group A.
- 20 names will be drawn at random from the hat for the Group A prize
Group B prize draw
All the tickets earned through spend (spending $ in the store, tributing coronets) are removed from the hat, as are all the tickets from any of the Group A prize winners. All that remain are the tickets from the free webstore crowns and accepting tributes from players that have yet to win anything.
- 30 winners drawn at random to receive the Group B prizes.
Drawing summary
- 5 players get to name counties + families.
- 30 players get the group A prizes.
- 30 players get the group B prizes.
Collecting
Drawing will be performed in the first week of October, winners will be announced once it is done. Ticket totals will not be disclosed. Berries and scrolls will be delivered with the announcement. Winners of Group A & Lasting Legacy will be able to submit their Noble+Trait request & County/Family name choice via email link in-game with a deadline of the end of October.
