Dragon Improvements

As part of a larger plan to improve Dragons overall, we’ve made several updates since they were released:

  • Reduced the Rage requirement to earn a Dragon Summon by 25%.

  • Reduced the time it takes to complete Rapid Strikes (which contributes to faster build-up of Dragon Rage)

  • Rapid Strike Sentries now spawn more frequently to avoid periods where no targets are available.

  • Introduced NPC Lairs that award Dragonstone and Dragon XP.

  • Dragons can now receive stat bonuses and penalties applied by Morale (up to a 30% bonus from positive Morale).

  • Lair Key Bonus Chests were released containing large amounts of Dragonstone to help boost leveling.

 

Today we continue improving dragons with the following changes:

Dragons now deal Bonus Damage versus Physical Element units and take less damage in Player versus Player combat.

  • All Dragons now deal bonus damage to Physical units that ranges from +16% at level 1 to +125% at level 110! 

  • All Dragons now take 4x less damage in PvP from other player's units (regardless of if they are defending or attacking). The base HP of Dragons has not changed, they are just as effective in PvE as they have always been but will now last longer in PvP battles.

 

We want the moment that a Dragon is unleashed to be one of the most thrilling moments in a battle. These improvements should help Dragons feel more impactful when summoned.
