Combat Update

For the attackers

We've reverted the changes to smoke duration and morale that we made back in May 2025. Smoke now again lasts 8h instead of 12h, and morale penalty for hitting a smoking city has returned to -500 (was -600).

For the defenders

When a battle ends, be it PvP or an invasion, all of your injured garrisoned troops will be healed and restocked. This will happen instantly!, and for free!! (no resources or speedups needed)

Why?

We want to make PvP more fun and frequent, and by reducing the smoking time you will see more targets available at all levels. With the instant free healing of reserves we also are taking some of the sting out of getting hit so people are more inclined to engage in back-and-forth battles. If you were relying on double tapping (hitting someone, failing to defeat them, then hitting them again before they restocked reserves) then you had skill issues, get gud :)

We will also be working on a "Heal All" for armies, as well as some other combat-related items like auto-healing armies when they return home, and selecting an army to auto-deploy in defense of your city. We will be monitoring the game to see what impact this has to activity, and discord/email for any feedback from you guys GL&HF and Happy Monday TeamKM
